A Newborn Photoshoot in York: Baby Reuben

Newborn Family Photographer York

Relaxed Newborn and Family Photography

- for people who don’t like to pose!

It’s always so lovely to be invited back by one of my couples or families to do a re-visit shoot, so I was really excited last week to meet 2 week old baby Reuben for my third shoot with Emily, James and Elodie. The first time was when tiny Elodie was born 3 years ago, and her gorgeous teeny legs still feature on my Newborn Package page. The second shoot we did was a lovely Autumnal woodland walk.

It’s brilliant to catch up with what’s been going on in life as the family has grown and moved house, and I just love seeing their photos in print and on display at home.

My newborn shoots take place in the comfort of your own home and there is no rush. We will go with the flow depending on what your baby needs on the day. I don’t go in for artificial poses so my shoots suit families who want to capture this special time just as it was, and see their new baby as they really were: wrinkles, belly button tags, screwed up faces and all! And it’s not all about the baby, I always take time to photograph all family members, especially older siblings. Pets are welcome too!

Since my wedding season closed at the start of October, I have been really busy with family and marketing shoots, which has been great fun. I have availability from mid-November so if you have a baby on the way, would like to capture some special up-to-date portraits of your family or would like some relaxed, creative headshot portraits for your website and social media then I’d love to hear from you about your project!

I also love photographing older kids! Take a look here.
